Head of Facility Management

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the role of Head of
Facility Management based in Al Khobar.

Objective:

The role is responsible for all activities related to warehouses and offices'
layout. Part of the responsibilities is the management of all third parties '
suppliers of this area, as well as site inspections. He has a very specific
competence and knowledge of processes and sites requirements. Close
collaboration with Real Estate function for fit out check for a new facility
and support building release to the Landlord.
The responsibility of this role covers, in general, the governance and
organization of all the technical activities (e.g., layout drawings, metric
calculation, contract requirements, cost evaluations) and the maintenance
activities.
The role must manage "technical staff" checking all third parties' suppliers
of this area, as well as site inspections.

General Responsibilities:

Lead Facilities Management at the country level, and provide input to and lead
the implementation of functional strategy to create suitable working
environment for employees and their activities and ensure general upkeep and
maintenance of buildings so that they meet health and safety standards in line
with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines, and policies
* Drive and manage Facilities Management plans in the country for internal staff and external vendors in areas such as facilities security, facilities maintenance & repair, custodial & grounds keeping services, office administration and secretarial services
* Determine and prioritize facilities needs and projects, identify cost reduction opportunities and manage all related activities while providing visibility and accountability to executive leadership in the country
* Engage with the multiple business units and executive leadership
* Develop business plans for efficient utilization of space and facilities, examining facilities and evaluating elements, such as HVAC and lighting, for size, condition, and suitability
* Drive and manage the facilities management strategy in the country including portfolio management, site analysis, cash flow analysis, and sale/lease strategy
* Define business process plans for all real estate activity from site selection/lease negotiation to build out and occupancy activities in the country
* Set direction, develop, and manage the activities in the country related to real estate & facilities ownership/leasing. Work in conjunction with the corporate finance team to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
* Benchmark, develop and introduce building standards for space allocation, design, and construction
* Negotiate lease(s) and monitor for lease contract compliance.

Qualification:
*
Bachelor 's Degree in facility management, engineering, business
administration or relevant field or in relevant field
* Master's degree (or equivalent through proven experience) in relevant field. (Preferable).
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFM) will be an advantage.
* ‎10+ years' experience in facility management, engineering, business administration. With at least ‎5 years of leadership in large organization. (Mandatory)
