JOB DESCRIPTION: • Determination of equipment and supplies requirements •
Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies. •
Conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers • Evaluate suppliers
based on products, services, and prices • Negotiate contracts/agreements for
purchasing of materials and best deal for pricing and supply contracts. •
Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures. •
Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be
purchased. • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and
pricing records. • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as
qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc. • Maintaining good
supplier relations and negotiating contracts. • Preparing budgets, cost
analyses, and reports.. • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services,
and supplies • Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality • Work
with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Proven work experience as a Purchase Engineer or
similar role. • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching,
evaluating and liaising with vendors) • Understanding of supply chain
procedures • Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial
reports and conduct cost analyses • Negotiation skills
Having 2-3 year Logistics experience in UAE. knowledge of Logistics terms. Having knowledge of Customs documentation. Good command on M S Excel.
