Marketing Manager

ABOUT SHIFT EV:
Shift EV is a fast growing electric vehicle technology company, based in
Cairo, Egypt. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in
Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain
solutions. You will work with world-class technology veterans from MIT, Intel,
Maersk and General Motors to build a venture with transformative potential.
YOU’LL WORK ON:
Promoting Shift EV brand and creating market awareness of the electric vehicle
solutions for commercial vehicles through digital marketing, PR activities and
product branding.You will handle most of the communication and messaging
strategies using the appropriate marketing techniques to target our customer
base, increase engagement, meanwhile growing our brands awareness.
You’re role will include the following
* Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales growth.
* Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to reach specific customer segments.
* Develop and manage content for our website, social media platforms, and other marketing channels.
* Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
* Continuously brainstorm innovative ideas for all campaigns, which fit and cater to our customers preferences.
* Identify target market segments and the most efficient channels to reach them.
* Track and analyze the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns, as well as reporting analytics back to the commercial director.
* Keep track of customer interactions across all communication channels.
* Work cross-functionally with the sales team by keeping them informed of customer analytics and preferences based on campaign feedback.
* Manage all media relations activities and information, including maintaining and distributing press kits, press releases, photo library, brochures, newsletters and key personnel biographies.
* Oversee media visits and develop key media contacts, manage press conferences on site and be aware of media events and activities in the local area and community
* Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
YOU ARE:
* An experienced marketing professional with ‎7-‎10 years of experience in the marketing field.
* Technically minded or have sufficient curiosity to learn the inner workings of EV products.
* An excellent communicator who is able to work with different styles of people and influence different stakeholders
* High integrity.
* Deeply passionate about climate change mitigation, with a passion for electric vehicles.
* A resourceful problem solver with a track record of working on entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial projects.
* You have a lot of grit and agility to work with ambiguity and uncertainty.
* (Nice to have) Deeply knowledgeable about fleets, and fascinated by the ongoing disruption in the logistics world.
