Job Description


AU is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated candidate to join itsgrowing team
in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department at the level of
Laboratory Engineer. The successful candidate shall provide assistance to
faculty staff in all areas related to degree program delivery including
(tutoring, lab supervising, exam/assignment marking and assessment assisting).
Job Responsibilities (includes but not limited to) :
* Assist in teaching Electrical/Electronic Engineering units (Tutoring, Exams/Assignments marking, etc.).
* Supervise laboratory experiments and provide help to the students if needed.
* Assist in preparing exams, tests, assignments and invigilating examinations.
* Play an active role in the maintenance of academic standards and in the development of educational policy and curriculum areas within the discipline.
* Maintain student records and carry out administrative tasks where relevant.
* Conduct research of relevance to teaching activities; to gather analyze and present data of relevance to staff and students and to teaching activities in general.

DGCA, EASA and the GCAA as Aviation regulators. Furthermore, our English
Language Department is accredited by EAQUALS for its commitment to excellence
in English language education. AU is also an ISO ‎9001:2015 certified
organization and is a member of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU).

Selection Criteria, Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:
* Bachelor in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with strong background in Electronic circuits, C++/Java programming, PLC's, integrated digital circuits and communication systems.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Ability to communicate in a concise and effective manner.
* Fluent written and spoken English Language proficiency.
* Excellent personal presentation and grooming.
* Excellent work ethic.
