Job Description:
Parsons are looking to Recruit a Housing & Accommodation Coordinator at
the Yanbu Industrial City Program on the West Coast of Saudi Arabia.
In this role you will be r esponsible for overseeing Quality Assurance and
Control activities related to housing assignments for all Parsons employees.
This would include conducting inspections and assessments, creating and
implementing QA/QC plans, as well as coordination of operational and
maintenance requests, whilst adhering to Parsons and Royal Commission
contracts, policies, and procedures.
Reporting to and taking direction from the Business & Finance Supervisor, this
role will interface with Finance, Operations, Talent Management, Parsons
employees, and various Royal Commission of Yanbu (RCY) departments and
personnel.
Specific Duties will include:
* Establish and maintains a database and documentation system for housing units, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recording of all QA/QC activities.
* Conduct regular inspections and assessments of housing projects to ensure compliance with quality standards, design specifications, and regulations.
* Perform inspections of the houses before mobilizations and demobilizations, or as required to ensure adequacy.
* Monitor and evaluate the allocation of housing units to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective actions.
* Participate in inventories of housing units, furniture, safety equipment, and appliance conditions.
* Coordinate with RCY O&M Maintenance Department on Parsons housing maintenance requirements.
* Coordinate with third-party vendors on Parsons housing maintenance requirements.
* Coordinate with Property Department in arranging appropriate furniture and appliances.
* Coordinate list of houses requiring renovation and officially notify Properties Department.
* Coordinate with Stock Control Department to provide RC Tag numbers on fixed assets.
* Serve as primary liaison between Parsons and RCY Property & Buildings departments.
* Forecast Housing requirements by developing housing forecast/strategy monthly, quarterly, and yearly to ensure that the RCY Property Department and Parsons provide appropriate housing to accommodate manpower needs.
* Notify Properties Department for changes such as moves, and mobilizations and demobilizations via proper assignment and clearance forms.
* Prepare Purchase Orders for appliances and furniture.
* Procure and coordinate "soft packs" deliveries to new staff, ensure accurate record keeping and coordination with Finance for all procurements and petty cash reimbursement.
* Serve as Emergency Contact for all Parsons staff in RC Housing.
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following qualifications,
experience and credentials:
* Any applicatns must be Bachelor's Degree qualified
* Minimum of 5 years' experience.in a simialr role.
* Excellent computer skills especially MS office Suite (MS Word Excel, Access etc.).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to successfully meet deadlines.
