To support our development, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement
Engineer to strengthen our teams.
Mission
Lead/represent and participate in the continuous improvement Initiatives to
focus on efficiency in the operations by:
* Working with business operations to continuously improve performance (Safety, quality, productivity, delivery and moral …),
* Identify, propose and carry out improvements inside the workshops,
* Ensure accuracy methods time studies.
Main responsibilities:
* Coordinate continuous improvement projects. (productivity, 5S, ergonomy, etc.)
* Represent & execute the General management's policies
* Support Team Leaders in progress management.
* Train and coach employees on the basis of Continuous Improvement.
* Propose and implement improvements allowing the setting up CI.
* Design for layout flow by CAD.
* Define, train and Implement all Lean Basics inside the Operation
* Participate and support teams to identify Muda (VA, NVA …)
* Implementation of Lean Tools (VSM, 5S, Spaghetti charts, Simogram, TPM, SMED, PFEP…)
* Standardize operational tools to collect data and delivered KPIs.
* Ensure efficiency of the program by implementing self -assessments.
Profile
Background and qualifications :
* University degree in Mechanical production/ Industrial engineering or related.
* 3- 5 years in a similar experience.
* Lean Practitioner
* Certified LSSGB.
* Excellent professional communication in English written and spoken
* French is a plus.
Competencies
* Knowledge of Work Study techniques .
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing/ kaizen/ continuous improvement tools and techniques.
* Knowledge of industrial engineering functions.
* Knowledge of operational indicators .
* Project management.
* Basic background in all process areas of manufacturing.Learning and thinking skills including problem solving techniques.
