T24 Functional Tester - Core

Project Description

Our company is looking for a functional tester with Temenos core module
experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and test software solutions using agile methodology


• Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) including the identification, collection and/or creation of test data


• Develop, update and maintain test cases and plans.


• Communicate effectively with Leads, Managers and Stakeholders. Attend all agile meetings (scrum, backlog, sprint planning)


• Follow standard testing methodology frameworks, testing processes as a standard


• Co-ordinate testing specific release activities


• Create test models for release testing (plans, data and scripts) pate in structured walk-through and peer reviews


• Participate in the coordination and execution of release testing


• Participate in Lessons Learned as appropriate


• Identify defects and questionable functionality; manage defects through to closure


• Resolve issues with unclear requirements and achieve a successful result


• Triage and solve complex problems using structured troubleshooting methodologies


• Work independently as well as work collaboratively in a team environment

Skills

Must have
* Strong organizational skills including good time management, prioritizing tasks, estimating activities, and meeting deadlines
* Must be able to multi-task and work independently or in a team
* Testing the infrastructure components as opposed to application testing
* Making sure Operating systems are healthy and firewalls working correctly but also allowing
* Test Design creatiion, update
* Participate in analytical meetings in order to decompose business needs to functional requirements, estimate them and compose acceptance criteria
* Review of test scripts written by your colleagues
* Manual test execution of scripts designed by you or your colleagues
Nice to have
* Experience in Unix and any programming language is a plus
* Experience in Jira and Confluence applications is a plus
