Leading the execution and the design of all software activities to achieve
business goals and optimize programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Staying up-to-date with business and product knowledge.
* Ensuring team compliance with development processes and coding standards to guarantee high quality outcome and commitment to deadlines.
* Monitoring, evaluating, and ensuring the completion of tasks and projects efficiently.
* Building a strong development team and supporting them in prioritizing and writing correct code.
* Solving complex technical challenges and encounters.
* Identifying projects' technical scope and keeping related documentation and updates.
* Maintaining and improving existing products.
* Driving key architecture decisions.
* Handling communication between DCES and SES teams.
* Monitoring and reporting team attendance, vacations, and sick leave requests.
* Coaching and training team members.
* Implementing office operations, policies, and procedures including HR and Admin related tasks.
* Participating in the End-of-Year Evaluation and PIP processes for all software developers.
* Coordinating with the IT Infrastructure team to update and maintain all production technologies and ensure proper maintenance and installation within the office.
* Performing other duties as requested by management.
Ideal Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, Computer Engineer or equivalent
* English proficient
* Minimum of 10-year experience in the field
* Professional behavior and ethical conduct
* Delivering results
* Accountability and taking ownership
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong leadership abilities
