Mission
The web Front-end Engineer is part of the Valeo Services Smart Shared Service
Center and will be responsible for front end developments, and support of
websites and mobile applications. The candidate will collaborate with other
developers working in an Agile environment to implement Valeo Services Digital
Strategy.
The candidate will be expected to take charge of assigned technical tasks,
working with the rest of the technical team and junior developers to deliver.
You will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle
including clarifying requirements, development, documentation, testing, and
operations.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HTML/CSS, pure
Javascript, strong knowledge of React, and will ensure developments are
secured and adheres to industry standards.

Resposibilities
As a SW front end Developer specialized in development and testing experiences
with Front End development technologies you would:
* Creating, maintaining and improving customers and partners facing web and hybrid mobile applications.
* Working with business stakeholders to move new applications and features from concept to implementation.
* Proactively work with the team to develop not just standalone solutions, but high quality reusable components and standards.
* Take ownership of code organization to improve maintainability & increase team velocity
* Engaging across the company to continually enhance existing websites and products
* Knowledge in UI rendering optimization, caching, bundling and responsive pages
* Manage your time across multiple projects and assignments
Qualifications - External
Professional Experience
The candidates should have from ‎0-‎2 years of experience, with most of these
qualities:
* Solid React JS, HTML5/CSS3 experience
* Experience of using Redux and its middlewares such as Redux-Thunk & Redux-Saga, ..etc
* Good understanding of Javascript and ES6+ is a must
* Good knowledge of Typescript
* Familiarity with CSS Preprocessors such as SASS, Gulp
* Knowledge of Material Design concepts & UI Frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material UI, ..etc
* Experience in unit testing with high coverage using React testing frameworks like Jest & Enzyme
* Knowledge with software development best practices, code reviews and testing.
* Comfortable with writing, editing, and maintaining tests
* Knowledge of RESTful architecture
* Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban)
* Sense of business with a strong sensibility to time to market
It would be great if you had a few of these qualities, too:
* Knowledgeable on modern concepts of software development and architectures (SoC, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, Microservices, SOA, Mobile-first, Digital)
* Knowledge in Docker and CI/CD tools
