Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130 bed
accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units,
Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics
and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields.
Your salary is a tax free all-inclusive salary! You will have a direct and
permanent employment with our client for either 2 or 3 years. They offer 30
days annual paid leave and annual study leave depending on your position. Your
salary can be increased by their commission scheme if applicable. They cover
healthcare insurance or treatment and provide you with a medical malpractice
insurance. Also you'll be able to get employee discounts, furnished
accommodation/housing allowance and a lot more.
Our client is hiring an experienced, Registrar Paediatric with subspecialty
Emergency medicine, who will provide immediate recognition, evaluation, care,
stabilization and disposition of infants and children in response to acute
illness and injury.
Main tasks:
* Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct;
* Provides the highest attainable standard of medical care for the patients;
* Carries out full range of inpatient and outpatient clinical duties as assigned by the Consultant/Senior Registrar in Paediatric Emergency Medicine in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges;
* Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department;
* Instructs and guides when necessary junior medical staff in the overall care of patients, supervises their performance/work and contributes to the training and teaching activities in the department;
* To report and discuss all unusual findings, complication or alterations in the management plan, with the Senior Registrar and Consultant;
* Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to morbidity and cost effectiveness;
* Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities.
You are a dedicated healthcare specialists who will provide outstanding
emergency care for ill and injured children and young adults, 24 hours a day,
seven days a week in a dedicated, child-friendly space separate from the adult
emergency room.
Skills & Competencies:
* Good listener and having good communication skills;
* Very good in handling children;
* Patient-centered, compassionate and holistic approach;
* Working closely with other professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
Education & Qualifications:
* MBBS or equivalent qualification AND completion of specialty qualification in Paediatrics and Subspecialty in Emergency Medicine;
* Minimum of 5 years' experience (including 1 year after Master);
* Willing to reloate to Kuwait.
