The role purpose is to provide support to end-users on various IT services and
systems and collaborate with the technology teams and Country stakeholders to
ensure optimum service. In addition, the role holder will have to analyse user
requirements, considers suitable system amendments, coordinate with central
teams and implement system upgrades and amendments.
The role also requires an understanding of the business and operations to
facilitate requirements and for driving key initiatives within country and
coordinating the implementation of regional and global projects which may
involve system upgrades or total replacement of systems.
In this role, you will:
* Develop IT Support & Operations responsibly, engaging with peer colleagues across the function, department and external to IT with customers to deliver sustainable operational plans in line with IT strategy. Occasionally engaging with Senior Managers ‎2 levels above peers. There will also be a requirement to engage with external customers on occasions. Leads and facilitates change through effective communication, preparation and implementation.
* Drive IT Support & Operations performance, persevering under pressure, supporting all in Country business areas within IT Operations. Ensure contingency is built into plans to cope with unexpected issues.
* Coordinate delivery of IT projects in the country includes strategic / innovation projects
* Lead a customer-centered culture, championing activities encouraging outstanding customer advocacy. Proactively seek opportunities to utilise IT related services to improve a business operation
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:*
* Typically educated to degree level
* Experience gained in an IT Support role within an IT or related field
* Ability to build strong relationships and communicate with a wide spectrum of stakeholers
* Knowledge of the project lifecycle and IT Support Strategy
* Understanding of Bank approach and policy in context of wider industry trends and direction
