This Opportunity

LBS is seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator in Kuwait. Join our team and
grow with us as we provide best in-class services that help clients solve
their most complex challenges. As a Logistics Coordinator you will perform all
tasks associated with the timely and cost-effective delivery of services and
goods to support the efficient operation of Air Terminal as directed by
management, regulations, policies, Instructions and the Performance Work
Statement.

Your Impact

• Housing Facility Coordinator:
  
  
  • Facilitate building maintenance.
  
  
  • Point of Contact for housing security.
  
  
  • Manage room assignments of LBS ATGHS staff.
  
  
  • Ensure rooms are properly setup for arriving staff.
  
  
  • Maintain inventory of housing fixtures.
  
  
  • Safe keep housing facility spare keys.
  
  
  • Conduct room inspections with Management appointed personnel and provide findings report using assigned form to Station Manager.
  
  
  • Control parking assignments.
  
  
  
  


• Employee Support
  
  
  • Manage employee transport needs.
  
  
  • Arrange employee airport transfers.
  
  
  • Deliver visa sponsorship required documents between LBAS Kuwait and Bridge Co.
  
  
  • Maintain inventory of employee uniforms and personal protective equipment.
  
  
  • Issue and track employee uniform and personal protective equipment.
  
  
  • Facilitate employee visa requirements such as photos, medical checks, etc.
  
  
  
  


• Procurement
  
  
  • Identify local vendors and provide vendor information to Management.
  
  
  • Conduct price surveys and make recommendations to Management.
  
  
  • Source parts/supplies from approved vendors.
  
  
  • Responsible for the pick-up and delivery of parts and supplies.
  
  
  • Review invoices to ensure accuracy of entries.
  
  
  • Develop and maintain vendor and service provider relationships
  
  
  
  


• Maintenance Support
  
  
  • Work with LBAS mechanics in inspecting LBAS vehicles to help diagnose issues correctly.
  
  
  • Conduct vehicle repairs and assist with vehicle maintenance.
  
  
  • Work with local approved automotive shops for vehicle parts repairs.
  
  
  • Create efficiencies and opportunities to reduce vehicle maintenance costs
  
  
  
  

Who You Are

Required Qualifications
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Must have prior experience with complex mechanical or electrical vehicle systems.
* Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs. Must be detail oriented, motivated and driven to perform at a high level.
* Must be able to comprehend English to include reading and writing.
* Must maintain a valid Kuwait driver's license.
* Required to maintain a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
* Great interpersonal skills.
* Customer service oriented.
* Team player.
* Ability to multi-task.
NOTE ‎1: Mechanic is a physically challenging position; extended periods of
standing, walking, pushing and lifting are required.
