Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130 bed
accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units,
Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics
and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is
adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.
You will have a direct and permanent employment with our client for either 2
or 3 years. We offer 30 days annual paid leave as well as repatriation

They are looking to hire a Head Nurse who will handle:
* Prepares work schedules and assigns personnel. Evaluates work performance and makes recommendations;
* Conducts daily inspection of assigned patient care areas for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, infection control and risk management standards, and takes corrective actions/ makes recommendations where violations occur in order to rectify the situation;
* Directs maintenance of departmental facilities, equipment, supplies and materials to promote efficiency, health, comfort, and safety of patients and staff;
* Establishes and maintains inventories of equipment and other supplies, and ensures that par levels are maintained;
* Ensures accurate maintenance of patients ' medical records and confidentiality of information contained therein;
* Prepares written documentation as required by the Nursing department, and maintains appropriate records and statistics as directed;
* Maintains a comprehensive and 'up-to-date' index or profile of all attending physicians' preferences.
* Formulates departmental monthly report as directed by the Department;
* Assists in the preparation of the fiscal budget and makes appropriate recommendation;
* Contributes in the implementation of total Quality Management Programmers aimed at best practice methods within a climate of customer focus;
* Consults with Nursing Administration concerning management of assigned areas and all related matters.
* Participates in the development and implementation of departmental goals & objectives, philosophy and mission statement;
* Provides staff development and education programmers in consultation with Area Nursing Supervisor & Nursing Director;
* Assists in the process of selection, orientation and training, and initiates performance evaluation of Department personnel;
* Performs other related duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.

* Develop teaching skills and participate in the planning implementation of orientation and teaching programmers for student nurses in the hospital setting;
* Contribute to the identification of training needs pertinent to the hospital area.;
* Identify and contribute to the continual enhancement of learning opportunities in the clinical area.;
* Participate in the hospital induction of all new nursing and support staff;
* Develop leadership ability in order to act as an effective role model.
Education & Qualifications:
* Must have exposure to Contracting side so that he can understand the contracting background;
* 16 years minimum with exposure mostly in Hospitality, Hospitals;
* Architect degree qualified.
