In this role you will:
§ Assist in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing
ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
§ Assist in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant
market information to customers.
§ Proactively identify sales opportunities and develop these opportunities.
§ Support distribution channel business development strategies.
§ Support plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increase
revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue
targets.
§ Collaborate with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship
mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for
the bank
§ Participate in events, initiatives and activities to develop business
opportunities
§ Protect the bank's reputation and ensure an acceptable risk profile, whilst
deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due
diligence reviews.
Requirements
In order to be successful in this role you need to meet the following
requirements:

Essential:
§ University degree and preferably relevant professional qualifications (Cert
ICM / CTP).
§ At least ‎5 years' of professional experience, with proven track record in
Sales & Relationship Management.
§ Good level of understanding of the cash & treasury management concepts and
comprehensive awareness with regards to the digital evolution in the banking
sector
§ Strong knowledge of local and regional cash management and clearing
services, products and techniques.
§ Proven record in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a
broad range of products and services
§ Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic,
cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
§ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build
relationships with internal and external stakeholders
§ Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills.
§ Strong analytical and communication skills, including written, verbal, and
the ability to deliver compelling presentations
§ A good understanding of the market & market trends, competitive environment
and regulatory environment.
§ Fluent in both Arabic and English languages.
Desirable:
§ Experience of working in an international or Global Banking environment.
§ Knowledge of day to day workings of a Corporate Treasury environment,
liquidity, payments and foreign exchange.
§ Broad based knowledge of HSBC Group companies and product range
§ Association of Corporate Treasurers International Certificate in Cash
Management
§ Association of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Certified Treasury
Professional or other recognised professional qualification
