The Population Health Department at the Dasman Diabetes Institute is seeking a
biostatistician to aid in the analysis of data from large national health
studies.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Assist in developing and executing appropriate statistical analysis plans
* Organize the data management and analysis relative to specific statistical analysis plans
* Create programs in SAS, SPSS, R, or Stata for the creation of analysis datasets
* Follow all SOP in the management and development of datasets
* Aid in the preparation of statistical results for dissemination including journal manuscripts, presentation, posters, and abstracts
* Provide data summary and analysis reports including both data and text summaries
* Work with project investigators and staff to mine additional information databases
* Provide supervision and mentoring to staff within the institute
* Perform any other data management or statistical tasks deemed necessary by the Head of Department for completion of projects
* Comply with ethics, privacy, encryption, and rules for data security
