Your Impact:
We 're seeking a Project Manager - Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS),
who wants to deliver challenging projects that really make a difference. You
will join an established and thriving Transport Planning practice and will
work on ITS projects of all types such as master planning, operational
concepts, design and tender documentation, ITS specifications, smart mobility,
new technologies, and emerging transport modes.
Based in Kuwait, as Project Manager - Intelligent Transportation Systems, you
will have extensive experience in the planning and implementation of ITS,
including master planning, concept of operations, engineering design, tender
and specifications. You'll have an opportunity to work as part of an
integrated and forward-thinking team and we will ask you to advance innovation
and collaboration within the team. As a key member of our transportation
planning practice, you will be an integral part of our plan to continue
expanding our business into ITS and help continue to make Jacobs, the
industry-leader in the transport planning sector. In addition, your duties
will be to:
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues and clients.
* Experience working with a broad range of project types and sizes with diverse private and public sector clients.
* Manage the successful delivery of master plans, contract documents, design basis, technical specifications, and other client deliverables.
* Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams across our client sectors, practices, and offices.
* Assist in the development of technical approaches and fees for proposals and help grow our portfolio of ITS projects in the region.
Here 's What You'll Need:
As a successful candidate you will have a degree in Civil or Electrical
Engineering. You will also possess: -
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in the delivery and management of ITS projects.
* Experience within the GCC region preferred.
* Candidates possessing knowledge of local clients, or other private and public clients involved with ITS projects are preferred but not required.
* Strong and effective written, oral and presentation skills.
* Arabic speaker is preferred.
* Able to complete tasks independently.
* Adept at interpersonal relationship building and conflict resolution.
