We are currently seeking high potential fresh graduates to join HSBC Kuwait in
entry level Associate roles in Global Trade & Receivable Finance (GTRF)
Business Development supporting various business areas such as Commercial
Banking, Global Banking. The role holders will have an opportunity to make a
great start to their careers working alongside senior Banking professionals in
a fast paced dynamic and international environment.
Tasks for this role will include most of the following:
* Leading origination efforts of Global Trade and Receivables Finance solutions for a dedicated portfolio of primarily consumer brands and retail clients - establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
* Aggressively grow local revenues for the dedicated portfolio of clients
* Assisting in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
* Assisting in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers
* Proactively identifying sales opportunities and develop these opportunities
* Supporting distribution channel business development strategies
* Supporting plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximize cross-selling opportunities for the bank
* Participating in events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities
* Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews
Requirements
Knowledge, Experience and Qualification required:
* Bachelor's degree in relevant area with min GPA ‎2.5/‎4.0.
* Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors
* Exposure to and appreciation of working in a global environment
* Strong 'team' skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered
* Possess analytical and financial skills
* Good prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities
* Ability to make decisions
* Good verbal and written communications skills
