About the Job
To prepare the local and foreign Purchase Orders and maintain the track record
of the same.
Responsibilities :
* Source local and foreign suppliers for the physical purchase of the material.
* Negotiate with the suppliers.
* Physically purchase the material from the suppliers after receiving appropriate approval.
* Follow-up and coordinate with the buyers to receive the material.
* Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
* Prepare purchase orders.
* Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
* Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
* Send RFQs and Purchase Orders to suppliers.
* Analyze the availability of materials by generating system report.
* Analyze and coordinate with the stores personnel.
Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in Business, logistics, or related field
* 2-5 years experience in purchasing officer
* Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
* Solid analytical skills
* Negotiation skills
* Ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
* Good English communication skills speaking and writing.
* Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, word etc.)
