Finance Controller - Distributors

Job Summary* ： Sr. Finance Analyst - Distributors HVAC MEA
(Dubai/UAE)*
Responsibilities:
*‎1.** Business support*
* Continuous business partner with the Distributors organization, closely collaborate with the General Managers (for IDM, IDS, IDA) and with their respective sales and support teams on the day-to-day business operations.
* Responsible for the Financial Reporting for IDM, IDS and IDA, including weekly Flash Reports, MOR, Goal Tree and Other Ad Hoc Analysis (Sales and Margins per product, distributors, regions…).
* Coordinate for yearly Plan, and monthly/quarterly Forecasting activities (Quarterly forecasts and Monthly R&O's).
* Closely follow-up financial performance, vs. Plan, Forecasts, Prior year.
* Close follow-up of day-to-day operations, be proactive on potential risks (deliveries, documentation, credit issues).
* Explore cost saving possibilities and initiate measures to achieve those.
‎2. Credit and Collections
* Responsible for the credit administration and strongly involved in credit and collections activities.
* Closely collaborate with the Regional Credit department.
‎3. Accounting**

• Day-to day accounting under local and US GAAP


• Monthly/yearly closing activities


• Responsible for OneStream (Consolidation and Reporting) & Oracle R12 (ERP) management, locally.

‎4. Controls and Compliance

• Facilitate and ensure proper standard processes, internal controls and documentation are in place and that all Compliance activities are adequately performed, within deadlines (accounts reconciliation, Sox testing…).


• Ensure compliance with local regulations ie. Income tax, VAT, Labor regulations, Statutory filing, and others.


• Ensure financials statements are completely and fairly stated, in alignment with USGAAP and Trane Technologies Financial Policies and Standard of Internal Controls (FICAP).

  Prepare internal control documentation, in alignment with Trane Technologies internal policies and ensure their application accordingly - Forms, Procedures, Level of Authorities.
  Qualifications:

  
  


• 
  

  Bachelor or Master's degree in business, accounting or finance.

  
  


• Knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP is a must.


• Multinational working experience is of an added value.


• CMA, CPA, MBA all considered pluses.


• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products is highly desirable. Knowledge of Oracle (R12) and OneStream is preferable.


• Minimum work experience of ‎5 years.
