Under the supervision of the Project Manager / Director, the .Net Developer
designs, modify, develops, writes, and implements software programming
applications and components; supports and/or installs software applications
and components; works from written specifications and pre-established
guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of
process flow.
Mandatory Skill Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of the .NET framework and associated technologies.
* Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, WPF/ WCF/ MVC, IIS, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript • Visual Studio and related IDE.
* Knowledge of relational database systems and MS SQL databases.
* Design, code and test new Windows and Web Software applications
* Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement
* Evaluate system performance. Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
* Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
* Familiarity with accessibility, usability.
* Create technical specifications, test plans and report application specifics
* Be well informed of technology trends
