Job Purpose: JOB PURPOSE To ensure the Stadiums sports and leisure facilities
including grounds and client support services are fully prepared and
continually serviced during each specific event. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED
TO OBJECTIVE AREAS - To prepare and setup up sports pitches, Cricket Ovals &
netball courts, changing rooms and specific function areas to ensure all
surfaces and associated equipment is at the highest standard at all times. -
To carry out methodical cleaning of premises and maintenance of equipment to
ensure the facility is ready for client occupation at any time. - To observe
and carry out any services necessary to maintain and improve the facilities
appearance. Keeping facilities and surrounding areas free from trash, litter,
debris and weeds. - To maintain a high standard of hygiene in the working
areas and in the clients support facilities at all times. - Ensure facility
operation equipment and machinery is maintained and fully operational and
report problems immediately. - Maintain up-to-date stock control record of
cleaning consumable, water & ice and gardening equipment. - Prepare & submit
complete inventory as required. - Collect, re-concile and secure cash payments
received. Provide assistance and collaborate with the other ground staff in
completing assigned works. Contributes to the overall success of the Stadium
by performing all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience: MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Qualifications: 10 Years schooling
or equivalent Experience: Facilities/Maintenance/Other Knowledge/Skills:
Experience in Landscaping and upkeep of grounds Good communication skills with
ability to write, read & speak English language. Knowledge of maintaining
lawns, fields, equipment and grounds is required. Physically fit, strong,
agile and dexterous. Ability to lift or move heavy equipment. Working
knowledge of PC based applications such as MS-word, MS-excel. Required to work
