1. Conduct patient nutrition assessment to determine risks and arrive at
nutrition diagnosis to identify the nutrition requirements for general untis
and wards.
2. Develop nutrition intervention plan for patients and make recommendations
for treatment, which includes diet therapy and education for general wards.
3. Provide both bedside and outpatient education; and also counsel patients
and families on nutrition issues, either individually or in-group for primary
diseases.
4. Prepare pamphlets, handouts, posters, etc. for general nutrition
information.
5. Participate in education programs/workshops and materials or related
research, as a part of continuing education.
6. Implement nutrition plans and follow-up in order to assess patient
progress and adjust plan as necessary.
7. Nutrition care process with follow-up appointment to be continuted with
the patients through OPD - Nutrition Clinics.
8. Participate in overall nutrition process as a member of interdisciplinary
team, attends patient rounds and team meetings.
9. Participate in training staff, interns, volunteers performing related work
as appropriate to the area of operation.
10. Meet the CME required according to the IPP through seminars, workshop,
and professional affiliations.
11. Follow policies and procedures related to nutrition issues.
12. Undertake responsibilities of Trainee Clinical Dietitian and Assistant
Clinical Dietitian or any other additional tasks as assigned by immediate
supervisor.
13. Submit monthly reports regularly to the Head of Section /Director and any
other reports whenever required upon request.
