Operational Technology Support Analyst
Fugro Middle East has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Operational
Technology Support Analyst to join a growing global business.
The OT Services Support Analyst is the public 'face' of OT Services. This
newly created role will provide direct support of Marine IT systems and
services to users of those systems and services.
The OT Services Support Analyst will actively promote standardisation of
practices used for support.
They will have a healthy understanding of the needs of the Fugro's Business
and the challenges faced by end-users in the field.
What you'll do:
* Works closely with all stakeholders seeking support to ensure timely resolution of their issues.
* Liaises with OT Services Deployment Team to ensure support can be provided during deployment of new solutions and to ensure sufficient information is provided from such deployments to ensure ease of support;
* Co-ordinates support activities with external vendors where necessary.

What you'll need:
* Demonstrated IT support experience;
* Technical knowledge / basic administration of one or more Linux distributions
* The ability to observe, think critically and solve problems using appropriate data analysis, interpretation and reasoning skills;
* The ability to receive and convey information to others in a timely and successful manner, using appropriate language and communication mediums (written, spoken, email, telephone, etc.);
* Experience in working in a global/regional environment;
* Process driven, has attention to detail and is well organized.
* ITIL Certification will be an advantage
You'll need to be ready to roll up your sleeves and navigate the business in
order to make the required impact, you'll have a very agile and flexible
approach and a can-do attitude!
