The role is part of a central finance function catering to all entities within
the Skybound group in Europe, Switzerland, USA and UAE.
Skybound have a policy of sponsoring all staff through relevant qualifications
and promoting from within. The Accounts Assistant role is designed to progress
the successful candidate into a Treasury and Management Accountant.
Key Duties:
* Record keeping of revenue and expenses
* Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations on central ERP system
* Identifying discrepancies between projections and actuals
* Handling central mailboxes for customer and supplier queries
* Aiding with analysis of trends and financial performance across business units
* Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing accounting reports and regional accounts
* Supporting year-end closing procedures
* Maintaining records and supporting the statutory audit
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
* Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
* Good IT Skills – an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office
* Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
* The ability to work alone, under pressure using your own initiative or working as part of a team
* Highly organized – manage workload and able to take on responsibility for your role
* 18-24 months of accounting
