Job Purpose: The role holder is responsible for all stages of the product
lifecycle from analysing data, creation, identification, validation, launch
and evaluation. Work to negotiate and obtain competitive rates for campaigns
and support with destination/product information to meet customer needs and
align with the departmental growth strategy. Job Outline: Plan - Contribute to
the development of the brand?s strategies to meet the needs of the business
and achieve revenue growth in collaboration with management, ensuring
objectives and product plans are aligned with corporate vision. - Develop and
maintain strong mutually beneficial, long-term strategic relationships with
both internal and external stakeholders. - Review, collect and analyse data
related to trends and sales and provide insights for the development of
marketing campaigns. - Report, measure and make recommendations on all
activities to improve the effectiveness of future products and sales. -
Understand business needs and provide regular competitor/market analysis
including benchmarking of dnata product offerings and market position. -
Identify gaps in the market and profitable opportunities which are
commercially viable, and which will enhance the product offering to remain
commercially competitive. Lead - Manage team members through coaching,
training, development, career progression and motivate by role modelling
leadership and team-work behaviours. - Manage the performance management
process for staff across the section by ensuring quality and timely feedback
and completion of PM reviews. - Provide in-depth specialist knowledge and
training of associated featured products to all areas of the business as
commercially or operationally required. - Work proactively with sales and
fulfilment areas to optimise conversion rates and minimise barriers to trade.
Execute - Work with the internal stakeholders to plan and execute the
preferred product strategy to sell. - Working with the team on all aspects
related to rates, allocations, release periods and service delivery, within
defined business timeframes. - Lead campaign management in-conjunction with
Corporate Communications, engaging all key stakeholders in initial campaign
discussions to ensure knowledge sharing and aligned approach and support with
activity and manage input to the calendar. - Conduct post-campaign review
sessions with internal and external stakeholders. - Streamline processes
across the business to improve productivity and turnaround times, work closely
with business and S & P controllers to improve vertical productivity and
turnaround times
Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (12+3) in
Business Management, Marketing, Tourism, or Hospitality or a related
discipline Experience: - Worked 5+ years within the travel, tourism, leisure
industry or in Commercial & Sales - Previous experience in a product
development role - Process improvement and managing large projects with
accountability for implementation - Established network within the UAE tourism
sector Knowledge/Skills: - Strong knowledge of the global travel industry,
including competitor activity - Knowledge of the functioning of all units
within hospitality, B2C retail, travel and tourism - Strong analytical,
numerical and problem-solving skills - Good creative and lateral thinking
skills - Strong knowledge of business improvement processes Please note that
