Job Responsibilities:
Perform data entry, calculate, and post invoices for payment.
Obtain and review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval
prior to payment.
Handle member and vendor payments in an organized, accurate and timely manner.
Develop and efficiently maintain Excel spreadsheets related to payments.
Monitor and ensure payment process on same day in bank statement pre-cut over
transaction time.
Post financial data to appropriate accounts and cost centers in an accounting
system, according to instructions.
Respond to internal customers and vendor inquiries.
Resolve issues with internal personnel and vendors.
Organize and maintain document filing.
Acts as a direct liaison between corporate and branch account payable
departments.
Assist in bank reconciliations.
Assisting with audit support as necessary.
Assisting in streamlining the accounts payable process.
Prerequisites:
Bachelor's / Master’s degree in accounting or related field.
3 to 5 years of AP experience within ME market.
Proficient in MS Office.
Good exposure on working with large data sets in excel.
Swift and accurate recording of accounting entries.
Attention to details and deadline oriented.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as
possible.
