About the Role
Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a Production Assistant to join
our existing programming Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The
Production Assistant will be responsible to assist the Producers and other
members of the production team from pre-production through broadcast for live
and taped programs. This involves preparing and editing.
Key Accountabilities
* Acts as liaison between editorial staff and technical staff.
* Assists Producer in the control room.
* Edits the program for re-air during broadcast or immediately thereafter.
* Fills out pre-production and post-production forms and distributes to appropriate departments/individuals.
* Checks copyright and permission issues on all materials acquired before editing and sequence creation.
* Uploads and distributes show content on social media platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in journalism is preferred.
* Must have keen sense of logistics and ability to work well with others including producers, reporters, photographers, other personnel and the public.
* Basic understanding of MS Office.
* Basic editing skills a plus.
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
