We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing/Business Development Assistant
to join our Business Development Team. This role will be based in Dubai
Our Middle East practice is entering an exciting new phase of development.
With our bold approach to marketing and business development, this
necessitates the recruitment of a bright, hungry, and enthusiastic Marketing
Assistant who loves to take ownership, push boundaries, and add value and will
have plenty of opportunity to develop and grow.
Reporting into the Business Development Manager, the Marketing Assistant will
support in delivering key and exciting projects and manage the day-to-day
activities of the regional marketing and business development plans for the
Middle East.
Main duties and responsibilities:
General Marketing and BD - contribute to the successful implementation of
marketing and business development plans, taking responsibility for quality,
consistency, and accuracy through:
* Supporting with both projects (Group/Sector/Office and firmwide projects) and marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix in collaboration with the Business Development Manager.
* Actively working with Business Development Manager to initiate full follow-ups and de-briefs accordingly and manage the process.
* Working with videographers and photographers regarding content creation and be responsible for coordinating and project managing this together with the Business Development Manager.
* Supporting with the research and completion of Legal Directory Submissions, working alongside the Senior Business Development Executive.
* Supporting with brand profile raising campaigns across all regions.
* Tracking competitor activity.
* Update Middle East marketing calendar and circulate to all offices.
* Events - working with the Business Development Manager and central events team to support the delivery of events fitting into our marketing strategy: Supporting in end-to-end delivery of events - content creation, invitations, mailers and logistics and assist with social media posts.
Candidate Overview
* Degree educated or similar, preferably a relevant Marketing Qualification or working towards (e.g. Masters Marketing/or CIM)
* Minimum 2 years prior marketing experience working across the full marketing mix (preferably within the Middle East and in a multi-national organisation).
* A motivated self-starter who is an excellent team player and loves a challenge.
* Flexible and able to use own initiative, takes ownership for own work, delivering consistently high- quality output.
* Highly organised with strong project management skills and able to juggle multiple tasks according to priorities.
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Able to balance pressure with good humour.
* Fluency in Arabic is highly desirable.
