MAIN PURPOSE
The role of VM Executive is to support the Brand Name of Montblanc and the
Regional Marketing Director in representing the perfect visual identity
development in all stores internally and support the entire WHS network.
Through a clear and structured team set up with key stakeholders:
* VM Intern regionally that would follow up on all orders on NSI platform for our Maison
* VM executives locally that would execute locally the international guidelines of our Maison
* Working closely with external suppliers on implementation under the lead of direct manager
* Working closely and implementing the vision of Visual Merchandising across our MEIA region under the leadership of her/his direct manager
Reactivity is key in the role of VM while implementing the vision of our
Maison through our Retail stores and WHS platforms and related activities
through Product launches, local themed campaigns (Ramadan, Diwali, Happy
Holidays…). Visual Identity execution, pitches to local suppliers and creative
agencies with post report implementation. The VM coordinator will be splitting
her/his time equally between VM New Projects and VM Set up based on global
guidelines of our Maison within the IR and WHS networks and whenever it will
be applicable.

CONTEXT
Based in local headquarters, reporting to the Head of store design and VM
MEIA, with projects work in regional sales network, travel expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Project execution for all openings, coordinating with all external and internal stakeholders across the region.
* Maximise the performance and maintain the brand image in VM (to international standards) of all sales locations.
THE VISUAL MERCHANDISING EXECUTIVE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
* Maintaining and managing the timelines for each project within the network IR and WHS
* All standard & launch POSM planning, ordering & implementation
* Direct follow up and indirect management of resources in India, South Africa and KSA.
* Set up of the annual POSM budgets orders under the supervision of the direct manager, following the regional A&P budgets with clear reporting to the Regional Marketing Director.
* Training twice a year on Product VM during the BW week to internal and external sales teams.
Visual Merchandising:
* Overall follow up of the visual merchandising undertaken in all points of sale for the network and timely execution of implementation training the direct and undirect reports across the MEIA region challenging each member through a clear KPIS and Scope of work.
* To ensure that all visual merchandising within the sales network is done to the International Montblanc Visual Merchandising standards and aligned with Montblanc luxury brand and image
* Implementation of both seasonal & product animation in the sales network with the support of key stakeholders: VM and Intern Team, direct reports and external suppliers.
* Local VM Executive and Coordinators shall develop and provide visibility plans and guidance for new boutiques and points of sale to be opened in the network to the Regional VM Coordinator/Executive.
* Overall responsibility of the POS material required for the full sales network including ordering, logistics, distribution etc with a budget Vs stock report on a monthly basis to Finance support and direct manager.
* Forecast and order all POS material for the full region including the annual POS material replenishment and special launch and decoration requirements.
* Management of the regional logistics associated to all POS material including the overseeing of transferring, management/tracking throughout the network.
* Management of local design, production & installation of special visual merchandising decoration.
Budget & Reporting:
* Maintenance of the POS budget as set within the annual A&P budget under the lead of the direct manager.
* Execution of all international and local visual merchandising reports with the Head of Store Design and VM.
* Prepare Bi-Weekly updates and communication on Visual Merchandising topics with all key stakeholders throughout the region to ensure consistency across the market with a clear review with direct manager.
* Prepare Montblanc International visual merchandising with monthly reports and images of seasonal launches in the regional network.
* Get the direct management's approval and control the budget and follow up on the final cost summary of each project.
Training:
* Develop & implement Bi-Yearly Visual Merchandising training programme for the region, external and internal network with the direct manager.
* Encourage direct report to take over on certain local territories to develop their own path and report on monthly basis their best practices.
* Recruitment, management & personal development direct report with clear recommendation talent growth: Interns.
JOB PROFILE
Education:
University degree with 3/4 years' experience ideally with an Creative and/or
Interior Design element is a plus.
Required experience:
* 4 years' experience in VM Planning
* Experience with Visual Merchandising/Decorating for Luxury brands (luxury watch experience a plus)
* Finance and planning acumen
* Project management skills essential
* Management experience of both direct staff and external suppliers
Language skills
* Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
* Arabic and French is an advantage
