We are currently looking for a part time or full time Psychiatry to join our
team. The candidate should have a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or
eligibility, must be Western qualified and have completed MRCPsych (UK).
Candidates with experience in the UK, US and/or Europe will be preferred.
The candidate must be comfortable in working independently in a community
oriented clinic.
Experience in the following areas is vital:
Outpatient care for adults, children and adolescents dealing with mental
health problems, stress and lifestyle related difficulties
Thorough clinical assessment with detailed history taking and mental state
examination
Management of various disorders and offer support for children and
adolescents, and their families dealing with:
* ADHD
* ASD
* Emotional and Behavioral problems
* Mood and anxiety disorders
* Obsessive compulsive disorder
* Psychotic disorders
* School refusal
* Problematic screen media use
* Adolescent-parent conflicts
* Anxiety disorders
* Bipolar disorder
* Depression
* Schizophrenia
* Psychosis
* Stress and lifestyle related problems
Prescribing medications when indicated after adequate discussion with the
patient
Offering psychotherapy/ counselling or using non-pharmacological strategies to
help patients
