MAIN PURPOSE
The Head of Media will define the regional media strategy of the Maison, in
line with the international guidelines and in accordance with each markets'
business objectives. In addition, the Head of Media will lead media
transformation initiatives as digital/data projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Media Strategy
* Define the annual regional and local media strategy for the Maison with your manager and the country leads , in accordance with each country's business and brand building objectives.
* Handle the regional media budget in collaboration with international budget teams.
* Define the media objective, audiences and touchpoints calibration for each key projects.
* In charge of the performance related to the media investments and of the reporting to country leads and international teams.
* Monitor the media market and competition on a regular basis, run diverse analysis, provide teams the direction with media best practices.
* Lead media transformation initiative such as digital/data projects. international partnerships and innovation projects.
Regional Coordination
* Act as a hub of expertise in support of each market's Business and Marketing objectives.
* Ensure deployment of local strategies for each country while keeping up with the international guidelines.
* Design and optimize plans while taking into account local and cultural features.
* Ensure smooth relations between the markets, HQ and the various agencies.
Management of Media Agency and Digital Partners
* Manage agency relationship at a regional level and collaborate with all key markets to supervise and optimize the agency performance in every market.
* Lead a dedicated agency team based in Dubai, ensuring that the strategy defined by the Maison is well understood by the agency.
* Collaborate on a regular basis with Richemont's Media team and keep a close network with other Richemont maisons.
* Develop strong partnerships with the digital partners with an innovative, first to market vision and best practice vision ambition.
Media and Digital Culture
* Inspire curiosity about media, the changing media landscape as well as innovation and ideas.
* Foster an environment of learning, experimentation and innovation.
* Design best practices and capabilities that are delivered across the region.
* Share key learnings, develop consolidated insight reports and organize workshops to continuously update and upskill key stakeholders of the organization (inclusive of leadership and peers).
* Manage and develop a team of four people.
JOB PROFILE (for recruitment purpose only)
EDUCATION AND Required experience
* Bachelor's degree in communications/media or related (essential).
* More than 10 years of work experience as a Media Manager or similar, with a Digital background, in a regional context.
Technical skills / abilities
* Strategic thinker
* Able to manage a pool of multiple countries with diverse agendas and challenges
* Able to adapt and work with different stakeholders and have a high sense of initiatives
* Able to adapt to a complex, innovative and constantly changing environment
* Fluent in English - Arabic is a plus
