JOB TITLE
Business Analyst
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The business analyst has to be the center of our business intelligence for
sell in and sell out, sharing all insights with the wider cross-functional
teams in order for them to drive actionable plans.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting:
* Ensure correct and on time reporting is done by the countries on a monthly basis;
* Work closely with CMI to report market performance by country/ retailer on a monthly basis
* Report monthly performance in accordance with zone requirements
* Consolidation of the monthly communication on results by country/ brand;
* Ensure budget, trend & year end reporting is fully completed by countries;
* Ensure timely internal reporting at retailer/ country/ SKU level
* Drive and strengthen the process to develop the reporting in line with the best practices (previous IT experience would be ideal to help automate reporting tools)
* Continuously develop and leverage his/her expertise in Finance IT systems.
Trend & Budget :
* Support Commercial Team in preparing the Budget /Trend for the Zone
Analysis:
* Analyze the performance for his/her scope
* Use effectively the standard reports and consolidated data
* Continuously develop and leverage his/her expertise in Finance IT systems
* Develop his/her knowledge / data to better identify and analyze the points of attention
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
* Experience in roles handling significant amounts of data which need to be simplified ideally close to real business cases
* Excel, Microsoft Access and PowerBI skills required
* 3-5 years working experience required
* Written and spoken English

* Analytical with strong excel skills coupled with the ability to draw summaries from large data sets, taking out the 'so what'
* Strong sense of urgency and timely delivery
* Can remain close to the business dynamics in order to understand the context of analysis
* Continually seeking to perfect and improve current processes and databases to increase business usability and insight
* Numerically and analytically savvy
* Strong organizational skills
* Excellent communicative and interpersonal skills
