WSP Middle East is currently seeking a seasoned Financial Controller with a
proven track record in steering organizations toward financial excellence. The
successful candidate brings a wealth of expertise to drive precision and
efficiency in financial operations, with a comprehensive understanding of
compliance, statutory accounting, tax management, audits, procurement, P2P,
and payroll.
Having successfully implemented robust internal controls, ensured statutory
compliance, and optimized financial processes for enhanced performance, I
thrive on challenges as a detail-oriented professional. Excelling in
collaborating with cross-functional teams, I aim to achieve overarching
financial goals.

Your new role, what's involved?

Compliance Management:
* Monitor and ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and internal company policies.
* Design, implement, and uphold internal controls to safeguard the integrity of financial assets.
* Conduct regular audits to assess and enhance compliance protocols.
Statutory Accounting:
* Take charge of overseeing the meticulous preparation of precise and timely financial statements in strict accordance with statutory requirements.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to analyse and interpret financial data, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
Tax and Audits:
* Manage all facets of tax compliance and reporting, staying abreast of evolving tax regulations.
* Coordinate and facilitate external audits, ensuring a seamless and efficient process that aligns with industry standards.
Procurement:
* Exercise supervision over the entire procurement process, emphasizing the cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
* Engage in collaborative efforts with vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
P2P:
* Spearhead initiatives to streamline and enhance the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
* Vigilantly monitor and exert control over expenditures, staying within defined budgetary constraints and maximizing cost-effectiveness.
Payroll Management:
* Oversee the payroll processing function, ensuring precision, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Stay informed about dynamic changes in payroll regulations and promptly implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance and accuracy.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
* Over ‎22 years of hands-on experience in a similar industry with proven experience in financial management and control, with a focus on compliance, statutory accounting, tax, audits, procurement, P2P, and payroll.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
