Responsibilities:

You will be working within a small team and directly reporting to the Head of
Finance. You will be based in our offices located in Dubai South HQ, Dubai.
Your role within the organization will be to work with all members of the
Finance department to properly handle and maintain the books, provide accurate
financial information and reports to Management. Your daily tasks are done
from our office in Dubai South Free Zone, UAE. Your tasks include but are not
limited to:
* Handling accounting entries, bookkeeping and daily accounting operations (e.g. invoicing, payments to vendors, accounting inquiries etc.),
* Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP) management: Prepare journal entries for AR/AP and GL transactions, prepare AR/AP aging reports and follow up collection from customers and/or suppliers and partners, liaise with all stakeholders, when necessary (banks, partners, suppliers, customers, sales, etc.),
* Lead and organise accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing,
* Process internal and external Vendor/Partners payments,
* Locate overdue accounts and review the terms of sales, service, or credit contract,
* Carefully and confidently process monthly payroll,
* Assist with accounts reconciliation activities,
* Assist with financial audits and respond to external inquiries,
* Lead VAT Return preparation and submission,
* Assist in preparing analysis and reports needed by the business,
* Responsible for maintaining assets depreciation schedule reports,
* Analyze financial statements and ability to explain results in detail,
* Help in streamlining accounting processes,
* Liaise with Headquarter for Inter-company transactions and other topics.

Must Have

• Related Bachelor Degree or Higher


• ‎1-‎2 years of related experience


• Fluent in Arabic and English (verbal and written)


• Knowledge in using MS Excel and any ERP


• UAE VAT experience


• Strong communication skills


• Strong organization skills


• Based in the UAE

Nice to have

• Passion for software products


• Finance-relate certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, etc.)


• Additional languages


• Available to join immediately
