Job Description
*
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the logistics
department. Ensure order processes and controls are followed to ensure highly
accurate data in SAP.
* Negotiate and manage agreements with freight forwarders and shipping lines to provide a cost effective and efficient transportation system supporting Eltek MEA inbound and outbound transportation requirements.
* Organize, plan, and review scheduling of outbound and inbound freight. Communicate between departments the key dates and requirements needed for order fulfillment.
* Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, carrier rates, shipping modes, product weights/volumes, or distribution hubs.
* Liaise with suppliers to focus on lead time reductions, and ensure on-time and on-cost delivery in accordance with project requirements.
* Demand Planner forecasting in conjunction with Technical and Sales team aiming towards timely production and supply of corporate product.
* Preparation of accurate and timely reports to management including invoicing, inventory, and collation of forecast data, logistics expenses and freight cost metrics.
* Participate in project pricing contributing logistics-related costs. Review contractual commitments, customer specifications, or related information to determine logistics or support requirements.
* Developing process and controls and maintaining accurate stock records (both physical stock and goods in transit).
* Overall responsible for tracking orders end-to-end from receipt of PO to invoicing.
* Compliance to group logistics policies.

Education :
Bachelor
Job Requirement :
5-10 years of related experience
Other requirement :
A degree in Logistics or a similar/related field.
Additional Information
*
Technical Skills: Must understand manufacturing, logistics, and inventory
management. Sound knowledge of import-export requirements in the MEA region.
Sound knowledge of LCs and ERP systems especially SAP.
* Leadership Skills: Good decision-maker. Able to organize, manage, motivate, and train direct reports.
* General Skills: Fluent in English, written and verbal. Good communicator.
* Proficient in IT business applications, esp. MS Office, SAP. Excellent grasp of ERP systems.
* Personal Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Gets along well in a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to interface effectively at all internal and external levels.
