Overview:
Element has opportunity for a Chemist (Metal analysis) to join our growing
team in Dubai and this is a great opportunity to develop your testing career
within a Global TIC business

In this role , you will be primarily working with with ICP OES (and possibly
MS) handling metal samaples - wet analysis

This Postion will be based in DIP area of Dubai

Responsibilities:
* Carry out metal analysis using gravimetric method
* Assist in modifying the existing analytical SOPs as and when required
* Effectively deal with client queries, the final review of the analytical data, releasing / sending the data to the client and setting up new analytical methods
* Responsible for all analytical aspects of the department and maintain quality records in the laboratory as per ISO ‎17025
* Use chromatography data systems and efficiently utilise the LIMS systems
Skills / Qualifications:
* Diploma / degree in chemistry with at least ‎3 to ‎5 years experience in similar role
* ICP instrument experience (minimum one year), in an ISO ‎17025 accredited laboratory
* Have the ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working hours (night / day) shifts if required or necessary
* Good english communication skills along with good maths skills
* Flexible to meet the role requirements and ready to work overtime
