Data Scientist

Job Description -
‎1. Lead and contribute to data science projects by applying advanced
predictive modeling techniques to solve complex business problems for our
clients.
‎2. Provide expert guidance in developing and implementing econometric models,
specifically focusing on forecasting methodologies for economic indicators
such as GDP and inflation.
‎3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients to understand
their business objectives, gather relevant data, and design solutions that
drive actionable insights.
‎4. Utilize your deep understanding of statistical methods, machine learning
algorithms, and econometric modeling to create models that enhance forecasting
accuracy and provide valuable insights.
‎5. Conduct thorough exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends,
and correlations within data, translating them into actionable recommendations
for clients.
‎6. Clean, preprocess, and transform data to ensure its quality and
suitability for analysis and modeling, while maintaining a high level of data
integrity.
‎7. Interpret and communicate complex findings to both technical and non-
technical stakeholders through clear visualizations, reports, and
presentations.
‎8. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise,
feedback, and support to foster their growth and development.
‎9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, predictive
modeling, econometrics, and relevant industry trends, and incorporate this
knowledge into client projects.
‎10. Actively contribute to thought leadership initiatives, knowledge sharing,
and continuous improvement of internal processes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor 's or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
* Proven experience (‎4 years) in a consulting or similar role, with a focus on data science, predictive modeling, and econometrics.
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, along with expertise in data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
* Extensive knowledge of econometric modeling techniques, time series analysis, and advanced forecasting methodologies. (Preferred, not mandatory)
* Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create impactful visualizations and reports.
* Proficiency in deploying data science solutions on production systems, hands-on understanding of ML Ops
* Proficiency in integrating the data science solutions with application 's front end (Angular JS) and back end (NodeJS) (Preferred, not mandatory)
* Demonstrated ability to apply economic principles to develop accurate GDP and inflation forecasting models, with a solid understanding of relevant economic factors. (Preferred, not mandatory)
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to structure and solve complex business challenges using data-driven approaches.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and present findings to diverse audiences.
* Project management skills to effectively lead and deliver multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
* A proactive approach to continuous learning, staying updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
