About the role



  • The Store Officer is responsible for Receiving, Handling, Recording and Issuing Materials as per the SOP and ISO procedures.

  • To ensure accurate accountability of all transactions to and from the stores.

  • To undertake the day-to-day, supervision of store workers and store services to deliver a construction industry-focused service.

  • The Store officer is responsible for Handling and Storing materials as per the manufacturer's recommendations.

  • To facilitate periodic checks of the quantities of materials held in stock.

  • Be responsible for the security /Safeguarding of stores/ all materials /equipment and Assets held in stock.

  • Liaise with Warehouse/Project/Construction Management in to ensure that trends are accommodated within the mini-max criteria for Non-Permanent materials and ensure the efficient use of materials to avoid damages/possible surplus.

  • Ensure the integrity of the store area is maintained, clean and tidy hazardous at all times

About the requirements





  • The Store Officer should be able to demonstrate a collaborative work style, strong leadership, planning, organizing and coordinating skills and should have the ability to take proper decision and action whenever any difficult situation arises.

  • Should have excellent oral and written communication skills and Good analytical skills.

  • Minimum ‎3 - ‎5 years of GCC experience in the Facility Management Field. (Preferably MEP)

  • Should be able to execute clerical and administrative work with good planning and numeric skills.

  • Should have a methodical approach to completing the assigned work and should pay strong attention to detail.
