POSITION
The Maison CHAUMET - since its founding in Paris in 1780, the history of
Chaumet has been entwined with the History of France, since almost immediately
after its founding, the Maison very quickly became the official jeweller to
Empress Josephine. The High Jewellery savoir-faire of the Maison has been
passed down from generations of jewellers for over 235 years. Crafted in the
very heart of the Place Vendome, the jewellery and watchmaking creations
reflect these exceptional skills and pay tribute to the Parisian style.
Currently in full transformation and firmly anchored in modernity, the House
of Chaumet is undergoing a global repositioning with a strong sales growth.
Chaumet is looking for a Middle East Training Manager. Reporting directly
to the Retail Director Middle East, you will deploy, adapt and design training
modules to develop the business and the skill sets of Chaumet staff and
wholesale ambassadors in the region.
MISSIONS
* Adapt and lead Chaumet training programs across the Middle East region, positioning yourself as a business partner for the retail and marketing teams
* Participate in the design and ensure the follow-up of training and coaching programs (customer experience, sales techniques, product training & know-how, Chaumet history and DNA)
* In collaboration with the international training Director and the Retail Director Middle East, build a Middle East Retail training course, in order to support the challenges of the area, support new arrivals, open new points of sale and develop our talents.
* Support managers and the Retail Department in identifying training needs , in line with the business priorities of the area and the challenges of the stores
* Ensure strong presence in the points of sales ; develop and deploy content related to the business issues of the region
* Develop and manage the community of In-Store Trainers in the region
* Build with the sales team an adapted training strategy for our wholesale distributors in the area, (animation and training of certain key wholesale partners) in order to support business issues and develop sell-out
* Mystery Shopping : analyze and build action plans with the store managers, monitor the action plans and their results
* Monitoring and reporting of the Training activity in the region
PROFILE
* Graduated from a business school or equivalent university
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail or / and Training. Experience in the luxury sector (Hotels, services, Luxury brands, etc.) is a plus
* Interest in the watches and jewellery sector
* Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Capacity of being organized and demanding
* Dynamism, pro-activity, force of proposal
* Fluent English and Arabic, French would be a plus
* This position implies around 30% of the time travelling in the region
