Beverages & Sweet Goods Flavourist for Morocco and West Africa (French

A Beverages & Sweet Goods Flavourist with a global leader in the creation of
Taste & Wellbeing, an integral part of our Regional Flavour Creation team and
focused on the important Morocco and West Africa markets while based in our
regional head office in Dubai - Your future position?
We are expanding our regional Flavour Creation team and looking for a French-
speaking 'Flavourist' happy to be based in our Dubai office. This
exciting role will focus on the growing Beverages and Sweet Goods segment for
our Taste & Wellbeing business in Morocco and countries in West Africa
(Nigeria, Ivory Coast, etc.).
You will report to the Taste & Wellbeing Regional Technical Manager for
Morocco and West Africa. You will be part of an exclusive creation team of
veryexperienced Flavourists and in a position to further develop your
knowledge and expertise with your colleagues within and outside your team.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:
Release your creativity to create the Beverages and Sweet Goods Flavours of
the future -
* Based on customer requests and market insights, you will create new flavours using the latest flavours technologies, the latest ingredient innovations, market and consumer & sensory insights, and a unique pallet of raw materials.
* Come with unique ideas and innovations to ensure our customers can continue to make a difference for their consumers in the region.
Innovate and collaborate with our teams -
* Collaborate with the Science & Technology (S&T) teams to identify the tools S&T develops to allow Givaudan to position leading and winning projects for the Morocco and West Africa markets.
* Within your innovation mandate, you will work in collaboration with the regional Marketing, Application, Commerical, Consumer research & Sensory Insights, and Innovation teams to apply new tools and inputs for new and innovative flavour creations for Beverages and Sweet Goods applications.
Create excellent relationships with our customers-
* Maintain relationships with a broad range of internal & external partners to gain their trust and respect.
* Complete daily brief-related tasks and manage assigned projects and provide flavours that meet all the defined customer needs, manufacturing practices, sample scale-up, production requirements, and regulatory compliance.
* Lead customer visits for flavour creation and product presentations.
Be a technical expert and leader-
* Resolve flavour production issues and customer complaints and completely own created flavours.
* Coach, train, and mentor flavour assistants, flavourist's, and application technologist's.

Your professional profile includes:
* At least a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or Biology
* 3+ years of relevant experience and track record as a Flavourist, after successfully completing a formal Flavourist training programme, with a Flavour house or with reputed organisations in the Food or Beverage ingredients space.
* Have flavour creation experience in Beverages and/or Sweet Goods segments.
* Knowledge of raw materials, flavour ingredients, formulation, modifications, adjustments, solvent and carrier systems, delivery systems, analytical methodologies and regulatory requirements.
* An expert palate and tasting skills.
* Exposure or knowledge of the African or Middle East markets will be advantageous but not mandatory.
* Excellent proficiency in both the English and French languages.
* Comfortable working and collaborating with diverse teams and cultures.
* Able to travel to Morocco and other West African markets when needed.
