Operations Coordinator assists the Services Team on their day to day
activities to successfully operate the plants and successfully meet customer's
requirements and work closely with the Operations Manager, Procurement
Manager, Logistics Manager and with other stakeholders to support Operations
across Middle East scope.
Key responsibilities:
* Coordinate and expedite with the sourcing team for issuance of Purchase orders
* Expedite with Vendor post PO placement for timely document issuance against purchase order requirements
* Coordinate in scheduling inspections with multiple stakeholders
* Dispatch coordination with relevant dispatch documents including invoices and packing lists / organizing all shipment documents for LC submissions to the bank
* GRN closures and vendor invoice bookings posting to AP team
* Working with the PR/PO team to resolve all conflicts that arises during GR and AR posting
* Raise purchase Requisitions and follow up with procurement
* Developing strong professional relationships internally as well as with third parties and clients
* Proactively developing a strong pipeline of active improvement opportunities for reporting and coordination
* Supporting Operation teams in other coordination activities deemed necessary
Skills:
* Excellent communication and Coordination skills
* Excellent in Time Management
* Ability to coordinate between different departments (procurement, logistics, Accounting, logistics, operations).
* Ability to navigate through a global and regional matrix structure
* Ability to prioritize multi-faceted, fast paced job tasks
* Strong local customer base and market experience in Bahrain and Saudi
* Ability to summarize and provide reporting on Operations activities
Education and Experience required:
* College Level Certificate / Bachelor degree
* 5 years of experience operations support
