During your tenure as an Procurement Support - Associate in IT, you will
demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
* Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
* Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
* Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
* Track orders and ensure timely delivery
* Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing products and services to be purchased.
* Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
* Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
* Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
* Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
* Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
* Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
* Follow up on invoices with the vendors.
* Track invoices received and payables with the internal finance teams.
* Remain courteous and patient with end users
* Work as part of a team to consistently achieve team targets

Qualifications:
*
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field (or an equivalent
combination of education and experience)
* Experience as a procurement support associate or in a similar position.The potential candidate should be self-motivated with an ability to survive in a progressive IT environment, along with understanding of new technologies from procurement perspectives.
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
* Attention to detail.
