Responsibilities
* Directly supervise staff in carrying out work schedules as well as spot checking to verify quality and employee performance.
* Ensures timely and accurate sub meter, chemical treatment and engine room logs.
* Ensures that all meter readings on heat, light and power are taken on a daily basis and reviewed for consumption.
* Assists in compiling a monthly consumption report on heat, light and power to include electricity, gas, steam and water.
* Sets-up fire life safety system, valve locations and other emergency procedures that involves the department.
* Manages the Engineering Department of the Hotel's operation.
* Ensures effective communication and good relations between the maintenance department and other departments in the Residence Club.
Qualifications
* Previous 3 - 5 years' experience within 5 luxury resort/hotel in a similar role.
* Thorough knowledge of all jobs in the Engineering area.
* Qualification in Technical Engineering
