Compliance Officer CIS/MENA

Why do we need you?
As Compliance Office CIS & MENA (M/F/D) you are the guiding light for Legal
Compliance and ethical behavior at Clariant. You will be responsible for
advising your stakeholders on compliance matters, educating the local and
regional organization towards an ethical and compliant behavior, whilst
monitoring the conformity to existing and need for new policies. You will be
equally managing investigations and expert input for the global function
related to sanction compliance, Anti-Corruption and Bribery matters as well as
related areas. A solid understanding of Antitrust laws is a plus.

What will you be doing? You will...
* Monitor and assess the compliance risks associated with the organization's activities in the assigned region, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
* Support promoting Ethics & Integrity, Sanction and Antitrust Compliance in Russia and CIS together with the Business Heads and Service Functions.
* Provide regular updates and reports on compliance issues and progress to the Global Compliance team and other relevant stakeholders.
* Work with the business units in the assigned region to ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
* Conduct internal audits and investigations, as necessary, to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
* Provide training and education on compliance-related topics to employees and other relevant stakeholders in the assigned region.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry groups, and other compliance professionals.
* Keep up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices that may impact the organization's compliance obligations in the assigned region.

What do we expect? You...
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as law, finance, or business administration.
* At least ‎10 years of experience in compliance or a related field, with a strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex compliance risks and develop effective strategies to mitigate them.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
