BIM Modeler - Fit Out / Joinery Specialist

Position Overview: - Production of BIM models and generate shop drawings,
schedules, documents required to support construction. Core Job Functions: -
BIM Modelling for design documents. - Draft/ generate general arrangement
plans, diagrams, sections, elevations and schedule in Revit based on Tender /
Contract drawings issued. - Create Project templates, Custom Revit Families,
Project Parameters, Shared Parameters, View templates and Filters from scratch
or modify existing. - Maintain BIM files for use in design drawings. -
Coordinate and assist BIM team in modeling of projects based off existing 2D
CAD plans or construction documents. - Assist both internal and external team
members in the development of construction documents and as-built document
creation. - Maintenance and proper utilization of company/project standards,
templates and content. - Receive RFI’s take action on the details. - Take
action on the issued engineers instructions. - Receive and act on design
changes. - Identify and notify potential discrepancies in contract documents.
- Complete work to the highest standard, ensuring a high quality product for
the client. - Ensure all work is passed to the document controller for
filing. - Support the Coordinator and Manager by providing information for
site queries. - Provide procurement details of supplies needed. - Combine
BIM models from all disciplines and prepared clash detection files. -
Highlighting issues for RFI and resolving issues face by BIM team. - Creating
4D and 5D Simulation from BIM models extracted NWC Using Navisworks-Manage As
per Project requirement. - Coordinating with other departments and assist the
BIM team in modelling, Annotation and simulation of project - Monitoring over
all Shop drawing, As-built drawings Production, Exporting the DWG and PDF
files for submission on Aconex. - Assisting all sub-contractors and guiding
them for adding data in final LOD ‎500 BIM models. - Updating Final LOD ‎400 &
LOD ‎500 BIM models as per site and Aconex Workflow Checking BIM models’
standards Submitted by sub-contractor giving comments if there is an issue -
Prepare report for Final LOD ‎500 BIM models and Sheet Master Files for Final
handover to Client. Requirements: - Diploma in Architecture/Civil - Minimum
of ‎5-‎6 years’ experience in Construction Design using BIM, specially in
FitOut/ preferably Joinery works. - Knowledge of Revit and CAD. (Manage,
Simulates & Freedom) Other Skills/Abilities: - Work well in a team. -
Approach to work and completion of tasks in due time. - Knowledge in
Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or
any other related field, preferably in Fit Out works. - Manages their time to
