Element Solutions Inc. (NYSE: ESI) is a leading specialty chemicals company

multi-step technological processes, our innovative solutions enable our
customers' manufacturing processes in several key segments, including
electronic circuitry, communication infrastructure, automotive systems,
industrial surface finishing, consumer packaging, and offshore energy.
The Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager in a supporting role
while secondarily supporting other shared services functions including
Accounts Payable, T &E, General Accounting, SOX controls, etc. This individual
will work closely with the Shared Service team members, as well as, the
departments and businesses in support of their requirements.
Compiles support data for weekly AP check runs and/or /wire payments,
coordinates with Treasury for approval, coordinates release of payments with
AP Team.
Processes all wire & ACH payments & creates documentation.
Posts manual outgoing cash payments and incoming miscellaneous cash received,
as needed. Charges out to units as appropriate. Assures that all transactions
recorded reconcile to reports.
Closes/balances cash with Corporate, monthly.
Responsible for the monthly creation of inter-company invoices and statements.
Accrues for goods in transit.
Assists in confirming inter-company balances across multiple units.
For lockboxes in non-USD, assures all cash is properly recorded and creates
monthly JE for FX adjustment.
Coordinates uploads of transactional cash details from bank to SAP.
Assists with monthly closing process, as needed.
Perform special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required
Assists with Sales & Use tax filings
Performs all other duties as assigned.
