Role Purpose
This role is responsible to formulate and manage the Digitalization strategy
to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. To
understand/analyze business requirements and provide technological solutions
to enhance the efficiency of ICD operations. In addition, also ensure
efficient IT services delivery both internally and externally to facilitate
business operations of the organization.
Key Functional Accountabilities and Activities
Application & System Management:
* Ensure reliability, consistency, and optimal operation of IT infrastructure, equipment and solutions to ensure business operations continuity and sustainability.
* Develop, design, and implement IT solutions that cater to the business requirements including Islamic Banking, Investment Solution & Business Intelligence Solutions.
* Ensure the monitoring of the IT systems and applications continuously to identify any issues that may disrupt the application service delivery to the end users and ensure efficiently resolution.
* Integrate and introduce an e-governance environment in ICD by establishing the needed policies and procedures for information technology.
* Ensure resilience management and monitoring of application access profiles, information security system and network access.
* Develop and manage high quality dashboards that provide accurate, timely and quality information on key operational and financial metrices to the concerned stakeholders.
* Manage vendor selection and outsourcing arrangements and monitor their performance to meet ICD business/clients' needs, client expectations, on time, with expected quality and on budget.
Digitalization:
* Develop and maintain digitalization strategy, evaluating the realization of optimal benefits from and ensuring congruence with the organizational strategy.
* Liaise with the concerned business stakeholders to capture their business requirements and propose new business applications and enhance existing ones accordingly.
* Initiate and manage the IT initiatives portfolio through prioritization, planning for execution, managing allocated budgets, and managing effectiveness against the digitalization strategy.
* Guide and monitor the development of in-house solutions (FA, PO, PIMA... etc) and the implementation of ERP applications in coordination with IsDB.
IT Service Management:
* Ensure availability and performance of the servers & databases that constitute the Technology Infrastructure of ICD and minimize duration of system downtime.
* Recommend and manage enhancements on IT infrastructure and solutions in timely and cost-effective manner.
* Establish and monitor the performance of service management by setting up an internal service helpdesk, and maintain the technology infrastructure of emails, network servers and hardware requirements.
* Provide regular information to ICD staff and management regarding the new developments in IT space.
* Conduct system administration operations, including provision of user access management services of ICD's desktop and enterprise applications, and regular system backups.
Qualifications/ Professional Experience
* At least 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology and Digitalization related roles, preferably in the Banking and Financial Services sector, with at least 5 years of experience in a managerial position is a must.
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related filed is a must.
* Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related filed or a relevant Professional certification such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF is required.
