secure the country's electronic payment systems. Thales has been selected to
supply major electronic systems for air defence and the Group also supplied
communication and optronic systems for the Army, the Saudi Arabia National

Thales has over 50-year presence and has developed fruitful cooperation and
partnership with the Public Sector and Private Sectors. The entire portfolio
of the group is deployed in the Kingdom; Defense, Security, Aeronautics,
Space, Transport, and Digital Identity & Security. Today Thales employs around
400 employees across the Kingdom with offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Jubail.
Thales is particularly proud of being a co-founder of Al Faisal University,
reliable partner of GACA to develop the Saudi Academy of Civil Aviation (SACA)
and more recently with the Saudi Railway Polytechnic Institute.
Thales has notable footprints in our domain of expertise. Thales is a major
supplier of Defense Systems and solutions. Thales has provided security
solutions in Mecca and Madinah's holy mosques, industrial, archeological sites
of Al Ula. Thales signalling is deployed on the NSR railway line, the longest
ETCS system in the world. The group supplied also its most advanced signalling
systems for the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah metro. For Aeronautics, Thales
supplied Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Navaids solutions to the General
Authority of Civil Aviation. The IFEC and avionics are used in Saudi Arabian
Airlines. For the Space, Thales has delivered satellites of different
generations to Arabsat. In Digital Identity & Security, Thales provides
digital solutions for identity and biometric, digital payments solutions for
Banks, eSIM to Telecom operators. In Cyber Security, Thales provides solutions
and expertise to public and private organizations.
Thales supports the Vision 2030 through Localization and Digital
Transformation.
