Job Description
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):
* Manage day-to-day operational activities and respond to callouts.
* Maintain system availability to and deliver the required customer's KPIs as per the service contract.
* Develop, and improve operational procedures, and coach the involved parties.
* Supervises the Shift employees by overseeing their work, assessing their performance, enforcing policies and corrective measures, being the point of contact for questions, complaints, and concerns, and leading by example.
* Manages and executes the planned maintenance activities, leads, and sets the direction of the maintenance team.
* Ensures that employees comply with the company rules, standards, and key values at VI (acts as a role model)
* Develops employees so that they can cope with the demands of their current and possible future positions Vanderlande Industries
* Assesses employees' performance and behavior.
* Sets priorities, distributes work and monitors progress and work quality.
* Ensures timely and complete all the assigned tasks in the department based on the schedule and priorities issued by the maintenance manager/ and the planning team.
* Ensure proper levels of supplies (spare parts, tools, and office supplies), and report the consumption to the maintenance manager on a daily/weekly basis.
* Initiate process improvement plan to deliver outstanding services and improve the system performance.
* Acts independently in several technical tasks.
* Identifies issues and solves problems that disturb the daily operation.
* Train and coach new employees and less experienced employees.
* Assist and manage other areas as needed, required, or requested.
Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/ Control & Instrumentation/ Mechanical/ Manufacturing engineering.
* CMMS.
* MS office.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Leadership and communication skills.
* Technical Report Writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
* ‎3-‎5 years of prior experience as maintenance supervisor/ maintenance engineer in BHS or MHS with Siemens Simatic S7.
* IBM DOS- Maximo.
* OSHA General Industries.
* Lean Six Sigma Yellow/ Green Belt.
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (Competencies):
* Strong leadership skills, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong technical skills in automation industries.
* Must be able to always communicate with others in a professional manner
* Must be able to follow and understand instructions
* Ability to work Safe and knowledge of OSHA regulations and practices
* Ability to lead in a team environment and be a team player
* Ability to train employees to read, understand, and follow electrical/ mechanical / blueprints.
* Detail-oriented and stress-resistant.
* Must have a strong willingness to learn.
* Must be able to lead and make decisions with little supervision.
* Must monitor and maintain quality.
* Must be able to identify process improvement.
* Organizational and time management skills.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
* Working Hours are ‎48 Hrs./week as stated in Saudi Labor Law. Shift schedule will be assigned by the department Manager, which should not exceed ‎12 Hrs./ per shift.
* Overtime will be applied for any additional hours exceeding the ‎48 Hrs./week.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has Leadership Responsibilities. You will be required to
Supervise up to ‎8 employees during the workweek. This number could increase
due to the business needs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The work environment/physical requirements described here are representative

* Noise levels of ‎85 decibels can be reached at certain times, so safety measures shall be applied.
* Knowledge and utilization of PPE (i.e., safety glasses, gloves, etc.) are required
* Must be able to work in various indoor and outdoor climates.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee often works near moving mechanical parts. Operate and maintain equipment and measurement instruments.
