Key Responsibilities:
‎1. Leadership Responsibility:
* Lead data center infrastructure maintenance, including equipment installation, cable management, and monitoring.
* Research and present cost-effective technology solutions.
* Collaborate with system vendors to manage on-site spares and escalations.
* Track and report Data Center items, including change requests and issues.
* Analyze and troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems.
* Develop budgets and plans for future upgrades and software.
* Monitor infrastructure systems for uptime and stability.
* Maintain team documentation.
* Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to support teams.
* Respond to shifting demands and work under tight deadlines.
* Oversee staff performance and assist in work delegation.
* Ensure operational processes align with company standards.
* Interact with regulators and manage the budget effectively.
‎2. Directory Service Responsibility:
* Manage DPW Jeddah Active Directory Services.
* Design and administer MS Windows ‎2008/‎2012 Directory Services Infrastructure.
* Expertise in Active Directory design, Schema, OU design, and more.
‎3. Backup & Recovery Responsibility:
* Manage DPW Jeddah Backup solution.
* Monitor and schedule system backups.
* Administer tape libraries and digital backup solutions.
* Perform server and system recovery.
* Arrange off-site storage and monitor daily backup processes.
‎4. Messaging Solution Responsibility:
* Manage DPW Jeddah Messaging solution (O365).
* Troubleshoot ActiveSync, OWA, and standard protocols.
‎5. Virtualization Solution Responsibility:
* Manage and implement DPW Jeddah Virtualization Solution (ESXi host).
* Design and implement Private Cloud solutions (VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-v).
* Handle day-to-day operations, including provisioning environments.
* Manage release management, upgrades, and migrations.
* Provide support through VMware features.
* Generate performance reports for ESX servers and VMs.
‎6. Datacenter Service Management Responsibility:
* Architect, design, and implement System Center ‎2012 Service Manager (ITIL Standards).
* Manage modules like Change Management, Incident Management, and more.
‎7. Datacenter & Desktop Configuration Management Responsibility:
* Architect, design, and implement System Center ‎2012 Configuration Manager.
* Handle software distribution, updates, inventory, and more.
‎8. Datacenter Services & Operation Monitoring Responsibility:
* Architect, design, and implement System Center ‎2012 Operation Manager.
* Monitor all Datacenter Servers.
* Manage various aspects of SCOM, including agents and configurations.
‎9. Datacenter Responsibility:
* Perform daily system monitoring and ensure hardware integrity.
* Monitor data center environmental factors.
* Maintain data center cleanliness and security.
* Keep servers updated, patched, and secure.
* Maintain documentation standards.
* Coordinate data center updates and compliance.
* Participate in disaster recovery planning.
* Assist IT Support Desk in resolving complex technical issues.
* Prepare and deploy new servers to meet service standards.
Job requirements:
* Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
* Experience : ‎3 to ‎5 years within an information technology (IT) environment..
* Competencies and skills :
* Experience in administering Microsoft Exchange, and supporting Microsoft server systems, including Windows Server ‎2008/‎2012, Active Directory ‎2008/‎2012, DNS, and Group Policy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Solutions ( SCCM , SCOM , SCSM , SharePoint )
* Experience of implementing and maintaining systems & Solutions in a high-availability, ‎24/‎7 environment in Terminal Operation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, advanced in English and Arabic.
